Best Robot Vacuum For Pet Hair

The ideal robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair will have a strong suction, and brushes that don't tangle pet hair. It should have a smart application, and be able to establish no-go zones.

The iRobot J7+ received top marks in my tests of picking up cat and dog hair on hardwood floors. It also has a unique obstacle avoidance feature that is able to supposedly recognize socks and cords and veer around cords and socks.

1. Eufy RoboVac G30

A relative newcomer to the robot vacuum market, Eufy has gotten good reviews for its slim designs that scoot under furniture with low. The G30 is a bit bigger than the 11S model but still incredibly slim, and it has more suction power and a mopping function into an overall package that's less than 3 inches tall. It also has a recess for the charging base, which keeps it hidden from view and out of the way when not in use.

The G30 runs the same application as many of Eufy's other robots. It's a basic application compared to some of its more expensive counterparts, but it has a few useful functions. For instance, a single tap of the Settings menu lets you share control of the G30 with others in your household. The robot can play a loud song to aid in finding it. This is useful in the event that the robot gets stuck under a couch or runs out of the room.

One of the most important things to take into consideration when choosing a robot vacuum is its ability to remove pet hair. The G30 did a great job at this task, removing both long and short hairs of dog and cat from our test floor. It even sucked up clumps of dried cat food that the earlier Roomba 675 struggled with.

While the G30's primary cleaning mode is Auto, it has two additional options for more specific tasks: Spot and Edge. The robot can vacuum a specific area for upto 2 minutes if you draw an outline of a floor. The former does the same, but it stops in between to avoid overcrowding its dustbin.

The G30, like most robotic vacuums that clean, creates an outline map and stores it in its memory. It doesn't have any other navigational options, such as room labeling or virtual no-go zones. You can set boundary strips with the app, but these felt more like suggestions than boundaries. The G30 is a smart and capable robot vacuum that is available at a low cost.

2. Neato D9

The Neato D9 is a robot vacuum cleaner that has a bigger brush, better dust bin, and smart LIDAR mapping that allows you to effectively clean corners. It has sensors built-in as well as a docking station that is able to charge.

The D9 is a significant improvement over the entry level D8 with twice the run time and improved mapping. It also comes with a more sophisticated multi-surface brush and an ultra-performance filter that can catch smaller particles like pet hair, than standard filters.

In our tests in the lab carpets as well as hard floors performed well. It also had the longest battery life, letting it cover a large house before needing a recharge. The D9 does not come with the remote control, but you can control it manually via the power button on the unit, or via your smartphone with the MyNeato app (available for Android and iOS) or via voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant.

The D9's LIDAR onboard assists the robot to map and clean your home in a sensible way that avoids obstacles. This helps it to clean more thoroughly. Its size may make it difficult to get under chairs and tables. This makes it a poor choice for homes with valuable antiques or collectibles. It can also climb up the legs of chairs or lamp bases, which could cause damage to the furniture or cause them to fall.

Like the other models in the D series, the D9 features a large brush that is able to remove dirt and debris at the edges of rooms. It also has a Turbo mode to remove large amounts of dirt and pet fur on carpets. In our tests, the D9 was very effective on hard floors and did a good job of picking up pet hair on both floors and carpets. The D9 also comes with a HEPA allergy filter to eliminate small particles that could trigger allergies and asthma. The D9 is very simple to setup and use using the MyNeato app making it simple to create Zones that target trouble spots, such as food waste under the table or No-Go zones that restrict the area where the robot can go, such as narrow hallways.

iLife Pro 3. iLife 3s

The iLife V3s Pro is one of the top robot vacuums for pet hair on hard floors. It can also navigate stairs and other obstacles. It comes with a mopping function. Its slim design makes it easy to fit under furniture, allowing it access to hidden dirt and pet hair in places that are difficult to reach. Its automatic self-charging feature saves time by returning to its dock when the battery is low. It can be controlled via an app or by using the remote control.

iLife's V3s Pro offers many of the features that are offered by higher-end models, but it costs less than half as much. It can clean stone, low-pile flooring and a variety hardwood and tile surfaces. It can be programmed to clean on a schedule, and will continue doing this even if you're away from home. It is equipped with sensors that stop it from falling down a flight of stairs or scratching antique furniture legs. Its elegant pearl white finish blends perfectly with a variety of decor styles. It's low enough to fit under sofas and beds.

While its small motor may not deliver the same power as expensive models, it does work quickly and efficiently to get rid of pet hair and other particles from floors. The V3s Pro is also capable of cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and other rooms on an everyday every day.

The V3s Pro does not have an oscillating brush, but it has a 3-inch opening that allows debris to be sucked into the dust bin. Two, three-spoke brushes sit on the opposite side of the opening to break up particles and crumbs before being swept away.

The iLife V3s Pro has a cleaning performance that is comparable to that of the Roomba from iRobot and Eufy RoboVac. Its lab-test results were average when compared to other robot vacuums with similar specifications. It was able to complete a single round of tests in one hour 31 minutes, 31 minutes, and 1 second, which is a bit slower than the iRobot Roomba and the Shark Ion R85.  best irobot for pet hair  was able of cleaning pet hair and other debris off of bare floors but struggled on high-pile carpeting that was thick or rugs.

4. Deebot X2 Omni

Ecovacs' X2 Omni robot mop and vacuum is not the newest model, but it's still a great option for cleaning pet hair. It can clean carpets and floors. It utilizes rotating washing pads that are submerged in hot 130-degree water to help it remove pet hair and dirt. This is a unique feature that makes the Deebot stand apart from other robots.

The robot is also adept at avoiding obstacles. When tested it was able to elude furniture legs, pet toys, and even poop that was placed in its path. The X2 Omni's built-in camera records its obstacles, allowing you to enjoy hands-free enjoyment.

Despite being a more expensive robot vacuum than the iRobot Combo j7+, it has received rave reviews from owners who appreciate how easy it is to use and how well it functions. The only drawback to the X2 Omni is that it requires an internet connection in order to work, which could be a hassle in some homes.

The X2 Omni can be set up in a matter of minutes. It includes mopping pads as well as an additional side brush already installed, making it a plug-and play device. It's also one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested and operates at an extremely low level of noise during operation.

Another important feature of the X2 Omni is its all-in-one OMNI Station. This unique docking system automatically empties and stores dust, allergens, and debris for up to 60 days. It also washes the mop and refills its water supply to be ready for the next cleaning task. This ensures that the mops always have a fresh and clean surface to work on, which helps prevent bacteria growth.

In addition to this it also comes with a X2 Omni also features a redesigned YIKO 2.0 voice control that lets you give commands to the robot like, "move forward and clean there" or advanced schedules. It also comes with a 960p camera that you can turn on via the app at any point to keep an eye on the house.
